TAG Towbars have just released their exciting new Step design, with welcome innovations providing easier fitment, integration with factory sensors, and a more refined overall look.
The new and improved galvanised rear step features dedicated reverse sensor mounting points. TAG utilises a vehicle-specific RPA (Reverse Park Assist) sensor relocation kit, which mounts each delicate sensor into the body of the step, thus protecting them from accidental knocks and scrapes. The relocation kits are self-fastening, meaning no extra nuts & bolts are required. The top of each sensor location is also protected from the top via a step guard, which also features harness bridges, improving the finish of re-routed harnessing.
The new TAG Steps feature 250kg Static Load Rating and durable powder-coated brackets. The Step and Towbar combinations utilise factory mounting points for ease of fitment and come complete with 50mm Tow Ball, Tow Ball Mount, Pin & Clip and D-Shackles - all backed by the TAG Limited Lifetime Warranty.
Along with the updates in overall design, TAG has also updated how they format the Step part numbers. The original part numbers will now be followed by a K suffix. For example, the Step & Towbar Combo for the Toyota Hiace was T7T743, and will now be T7T743-K010.
Engineered for precision fitment and durability, the TAG Rear Step & Towbar combinations deliver long-lasting, reliable support to transport and trade fleet vehicles. We currently have great availability on all Step and Combination PNOs, for vehicles such as Ford Transit, Hyundai Staria, LDV G10, Toyota Hiace, VW Transporter and more.
